Memory Care Apartments

The Alton Memory Care is beautiful, homelike and provides a safe environment. The community is comfortable and well-staffed, and is a place where our residents and their families can flourish and feel support. 

Fee Structure and Extras as Needed: The basic service package includes both housing and healthcare services. Care packages range in price and vary based on an individual’s care needs. When needs change, services can be added without having to move. Your Alton management representative is available to discuss specific services and fees based on a Registered Nurse’s assessment of the individual resident’s needs and desires.

The Following are Included in the Basic Monthly Service Package

Community Living Environment

  • Private living suites including individual or semi-private (tandem suites) bathroom
  • State of the art security and call system is complimented by monitored building entrance and exits

Staff

  • Staff specifically trained for meeting the needs of those with memory loss
  • Training is provided at point of hire and is offered throughout employment to meet the most up-to-date requirements and programming for the care of those with memory loss

Resident and Family Services

  • Resident Services Coordinator provides support and resources throughout a resident and family stay
  • Educational and support group opportunities for families
  • As needed care conferences to keep lines of communication open between staff and family members

Recreational Opportunities

 

  • Staff-planned and conducted on and off site events and outings (includes transportation)

Dining Services

  • Three meals a day served restaurant style with chef developed menus
  • Snacks are available throughout the day
  • Special diets may be accommodated

Housekeeping/Laundry and Maintenance

  • Onsite maintenance services
  • Weekly laundry
  • Weekly housekeeping including linen change

Utilities and Other Services

  • Heat, water, electricity, phone and Direct TV
  • Notary, fax and copy services
